Join Alexandria Classical Christian Academy for an evening with Dr. Daniel T. Willingham, cognitive scientist, author, and Professor of Psychology at the University of Virginia.
Drawing on decades of research, Dr. Willingham will share practical insights into how children learn and what parents can do to support strong readers, critical thinkers, and motivated learners.
The conversation will explore questions including the role of background knowledge in reading comprehension and critical thinking, how memory and practice support long-term learning, what truly motivates children, and how attention and technology shape learning today.
