Christian Faith
Alexandria Classical Christian Academy teachers and staff are united in our belief that God in his glory has formed truth and made it the glory of man to learn, discover, and seek it out (Prov. 25:2).
We guide students in worship through learning and are united in the Apostles Creed:
I believe in God, the Father almighty,
creator of heaven and earth.
I believe in Jesus Christ, his only Son, our Lord.
He was conceived by the Holy Spirit
and born of the Virgin Mary.
He suffered under Pontius Pilate,
was crucified, died, and was buried.
He descended to the dead.
On the third day he rose again.
He ascended into heaven,
and is seated at the right hand of the Father.
He will come again to judge the living and the dead.
I believe in the Holy Spirit,
the holy catholic* Church,
the communion of saints,
the forgiveness of sins,
the resurrection of the body,
and the life everlasting. Amen.

ACCA believes that Scripture is the word of God and authority on Christian living and all matters, including the sanctity of human life, marriage and family, and gender. Parents at ACCA are encouraged to attend a church of their choice with their family and collaborate with teachers in the discipleship and spiritual formation of ACCA students. Parents are encouraged to volunteer within the classroom and help build a strong culture of parental involvement within the school.
Parents are also encouraged to follow patterns of living within their homes that complement and build upon the classical approach. This includes church attendance, reading, and discussion in the lives of all members of the home, getting good sleep and strong nutrition, and limiting screen time technology use within the home.
